Commissioned by Paul Wallfisch, musical director of Vienna’s Volkstheater, 'Souvenir of England' is Marianne Dissard’s creative response to English director Joanna Hogg’s 2019 feature film 'The Souvenir, Part 1'.

Working with longtime collaborators Raphael Mann, English musical director; Bastien Forestier, French set designer; London-based Los Angeles musician Art Terry on piano and vocals; and Berlin-based American dancer Frank Willens (on the Vienna date only), Dissard sets out to explore the state of England in 2022 through the prism of the exquisite film.
